Check the shape

Make a thin frame of the traced shape (like a clay cutter). Print it and try passing the tool through.

If the tool slips through, the traced size is right.
If it does not pass or is tight, review the scale (A–B length) or "Add margin".
The frame is thin and low, so it prints much faster and with less material than a bin.
